This is the first of a two-part Tours 201 training for those interested in helping with the Tours as a Run Group Lead, Relay, or Sweep. This classroom training will be facilitated via a Zoom meeting. Although we prefer that you also participate in the practice drive on Saturday, May 8, 2024, it is not required.
Do you have an interest in helping with the Tours as a Run Group Lead, Relay or Sweep? Do you have a tour route you are interested in helping with? There are many people that volunteer to help via Eventbrite registration for Tours or suggest routes for tours. This training is for you. We all know that leading a Run Group takes some skills and practice, there are also special skills that Relays and Sweeps should learn and practice. This is a two-part training consisting of a Zoom presentation on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, with an open discussion on what it takes to be a Run Group Lead, Relay, and Sweep and a practice drive for everyone to practice the roles on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
